We Can't All Be Fans

Sharayah and I went to the mall today and while we were out and about, our conversation turned to the fact that my husband, Terry, selected New Moon as our movie choice last night. I have only read Twilight and decided that was enough for me so I was completely baffled as to why we were watching this particular film. My conclusion was that he was trying to be considerate of my feminine movie genre preferences and was being a gentleman.

Oh how I was wrong...

Sharayah proceeded to inform me that she and Terry had been texting rather recently and he'd mentioned that he'd like to watch the movie, just to see what it was about and how the filming looked, etc. I quickly amended my previous conclusion and decided that my husband was using my "feminine needs" as a guise to watch this particular movie of his choice that was not in his typical genre preference. I don't really mind. The only thing that does actually bother me was how horrible the movie was. I felt like some higher thinking capabilities were nearly run into the ground by the end of the film. I'm sorry, Stephenie Meyers, but I just don't care for it.
